PILGRIMAGE TO BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA

ITINERARY

 

 

Day 1

Flight to Buenos Aires, one of Latin America's most important ports and most populous cities. Transfer to the hotel. Accomodation. Free time to discover this beautiful city. Dinner watching a marvelous Tango show. 

Day 2

Following breakfast, visit the most important pilgrimage center of Argentina - the city of Lujan with its neo-gothic Basilica, built in honor of the Virgin of Luján, the saint patron of Argentina. Tour of Buenos Aires, visiting Plaza de Mayo the oldest public square in Buenos Aires, the pink house, Plaza San Martin surrounded by some of the most impressive public buildings of this city, San Telmo the oldest barrio (neighborhood) of this city characterized by its colonial buildings, July 9 Avenue and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 

Breakfast. Ride to a typical hacienda located near the capital. Discovering the life of rural gauchos (cattle breeders) and participate in a typical Argentinian feast. During the stay in the hacienda, see a show of traditional Argentinean dances. Overnight. 

Day 4 

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Iguazu, to explore the largest waterfall system in the world. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner.

Day 5

Breakfast. Walk along numerous cascades located in the heart of the jungle on the Argentine side to admire the beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. Admiring the Devil's throat, Bosetti, Two Sisters, Saint Martin, Brotherhood, among others. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 6 

Breakfast. Tour on the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Flight to Sao Paulo and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 7 

Breakfast. Visit the Cathedral in Sao Paolo and transfer to Aparecida. Visit the most important sanctuary of Brazil, the principal patroness of Brazil, the Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady Aparecida. Free time and celebrate the Holy Mass. Dinner and accommodation. 

Day 8 

Breakfast. Holy Mass in the Basilica of Aparecida, lunch and transfer to Rio de Janeiro. Dinner and accommodation. 

Day 9 

Following breakfast, sightseeing tour of the city Rio de Janeiro. Visiting the historical center with the Cathedral, the Corcovado Mountain topped with the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer and the iconic Sugar Loaf with it's cableway, to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the city. Dinner in traditional Brazilian churrasqueria. Accommodation.

Day 10

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
