ITINERARY

Day 1

Flight to Mexico.

Day 2

Arrival in Mexico City. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Continue the trip to the famous pyramids of Teotihuacan to visit the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Moon, the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Dinner in the area, and in the evening, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 4

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Mexico City visiting the majestic Cathedral, the Presidential Palace and downtown, Plaza de Armas. Afterwards visit one of the most famous museums in the world, the Museum of History and Anthropology, with objects from prehispanic times. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cancun. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, ride to Tulum. Visit the picturesque old port, the Maya fortress. Later visit the pyramids and temples scattered around the city of Coba. Arrival for dinner and overnight to Chetumal.

Day 6

Breakfast. Early morning ride to Calakmul - visit this inaccessible Mayan city. This archaeological zone, away from all tourist routes, offers not only magnificent ruins of the pre-Columbian pyramids and temples, but also a lot of local flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight in the Calakmul area (ecotourism hotel).

Day 7

Breakfast. Morning transfer to Palenque. Visit the beautiful waterfall Mishol-Ha. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Early morning drive to the border river that separates Mexico from Guatemala. Visit the sunken jungle city of Yaxchilan, which can only be reached by boat. Breakfast in the jungle. Return to Palenque. Visit the Mayan buildings scattered in the jungle in Palenque: Temple of the Inscriptions, Temple of the Cross, Temple of the Sun. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9

Breakfast. Ride through the Yucatan Peninsula to the wonderful, pre-Columbian Mayan city of Uxmal. Visit the Pyramid of the Magician, Monastery, Governor's Palace. In the evening, tour around the colonial capital of Yucatan - Merida, known as the Paris of Mexico. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10

Breakfast. Ride to the archeological site of Chichén Itzá which contains the remains of one of the largest and most powerful city states of the pre-Columbian Americas and is one of the 8 Wonders of the Modern World. Later travel to Cancun/Playa del Carmen with its amazingly blue Caribbean Sea. Hotel all-inclusive.
